The Ben Rush Spelling Bee is designed after the Scripps National Spelling Bee. It is an excellent program aimed at increasing the participant's spelling abilities, vocabulary, and learning how to compete in a safe supportive environment.

The Hospitality committee is responsible for overseeing appreciation, awards, and refreshments, including teacher/staff appreciation events and lunches, and refreshments for PTA meetings and events. The Hospitality committee also assists the PTA President in organizing activities at the beginning of school, including Kindergarten Orientation and Meet & Greet.

The Biweekly Math Challenge is a FREE program that gives elementary students a chance to practice their mathematical problem-solving skills with fun and engaging problems. The Math Challenge Tournament is an annual National Mathematics tournament open to students in grades 2-6.

We are getting ready for another session of after school enrichment classes! Choir will begin October 3. All other classes will begin the week of October 9.
Priority registration will open for PTA members only on September 23rd. General registration will begin September 25.

Ben Rush celebrates International Night each year to honor the international and regional diversity of our school community. It’s a feast for the eyes, a journey around the world. All families are invited to attend. It’s free.

The Benjamin Rush PTA Science Fair is held each year in the spring. All students are invited to participate by entering a science project.

We sell high quality t-shirts and sweatshirts with our school colors and logo. Parents can purchase these items anytime and kids can wear them on spirit days (the first Wednesday of every month) or anytime they want!
